Robert A. SedlákThe title “Certified Management Consultant” has been conferred on Guest Professor Robert A. Sedlák East China Normal University (ECNU) Shanghai by the Federal Association of German Management Consultants (BDU) for another three years. Robert A. Sedlák has hence been holding this internationally approved title for 15 years. The title is awarded to full-time management consultants, who meet the requirements of the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (ICMCI).

Since 1987, Robert A. Sedlák has been working as a management consultant for DAX registered companies in EMEA, APAC and NAFTA as well as for medium-sized companies, particularly family-owned businesses. In the past few years, he has come to be one of the most prestigious systemic Consultants.

One of his main consulting topics is the foresighted self-renewal of organizations. This concept, which was developed with renowned scientists in the field of New System Theory, enables organizations to recognize and capture external signals at an early stage and to use them effectively for a self-renewal process. As a result, “blind spots” can be identified and be worked on. The organization will hence be able to prepare itself for changes in a foresighted manner and to operate successfully on the market in the future. With the concept of the “Foresighted Self-Renewal”, he sets new standards regarding strategy development and change management.

With the establishment of the „ECNU-S&P Research Center for ICT-Enabled Systemic Changes and Innovations“, Robert A. Sedlák has been appointed a 5-year Guest Professorship at the East China Normal University (ECNU) in July 2013.
